Machine Introduction
The chemical glass tempering furnace is mainly used for the strengthening treatment after the glass polishing, cleaning, and inspection, to enhance the heat and shock resistance of the glass surface. According to the plasma diffusion mechanism, an ion exchange process occurs between the alkali ions in the glass and the potassium ions in the salt, which improves the composition of the glass surface and causes compressive stress on the glass surface. After tempering, the heat resistance and shock resistance of the glass is greatly improved. After treatment, the glass has high strength and good thermal stability. The surface of the glass remains smooth, without deformation, can be cut, and does not explode. It is suitable for all kinds of a glass of any thickness and shape.
The chemical tempering workflow mainly includes feeding, preheating, tempering (ion exchange), salt dropping, slow cooling, and discharging. The operator inserts the glass to be tempered into the basket, pushes it to the feeding position at the front end of the tempering furnace, lowers the lifting hook of the preheating furnace to a low position, and then lifts the basket into the preheating furnace by the lifting hook for preheating. After the preheating is completed, the program automatically opens the furnace door of the tempering furnace, and the mobile machine moves the hanging basket of the preheating furnace directly above the tempering furnace, and the hanging basket is lowered to the tempering furnace for tempering. After the tempering time set by the process, the chemical tempering is completed. Lift and dripping salt, the furnace cools slowly, and then the hanging basket is put down at the end to take out the glass.
